Leonard Fournette leaves Jaguars game vs. Steelers with injury

Fournette hopped off the field.

Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette left their game against the Steelers with an injury to his right foot. The Jaguars training staff examined Fournette on the sideline, and would walk him to the locker room in the second quarter.

What does this mean for the Jaguars? Fournette had gotten off to a great start against the Steelers. He had 12 carries for 82 yards and two touchdowns prior to the injury, which happened with under six minutes to go in the first half.

The Jaguars will now look to T.J. Yeldon in Fournette’s absence. During the regular season, Yeldon played in 10 games, rushing for 29 yards and 253 yards. He also had two touchdowns on the season.

Bortles has been good on the ground for the Jaguars last week and through the first half this Sunday against the Steelers. But Yeldon will have to carry the load, and help keep pressure off of Blake Bortles.
